Cover Wars is a fun little feature at Tantalizing Illusions all about voting for your favourite cover. Why? For fun! It's my way of promoting new titles with pretty covers. Every week there are two covers: the Challenger and the Defender. The Defender is the winner from the previous week. The Challenger is uh, challenging the Defender for its throne. Above is the cover to beat. It has won for over a month and clearly the cover gods favour it. Will this unstoppable winning streak continue as Above faces Deadly Cool? Your votes will determine what happens next!

Last week was so very close again. Frost lost by one vote to Above! Above is on a streak! Can it manage to hold it's title against our new challenger, Between the Sea and the Sky by Jaclyn Dolamore? Only your votes hold the answer.

FROST by Marianna Baer. The covers this week are very similar yet opposites. They're both sort of metallic and sultry. Both have girls looking up with scenery in the background. One has the girl's face and a country-looking creepy house while the other shows the back of a girl with wings in Toronto. They're both undeniably beautiful though and I for one can't wait to see which will triumph. Let the battle begin!

Cover Wars : Above vs. Still Waters

Cover Wars is a pretty regular feature at Tantalizing Illusions all about covers! It's my way of appreciating them. Basically what happens is every week two covers face off. The Defendant and the Challenger. One cover wins (based on YOUR votes!) and goes to defend it's title the next week against a brand new cover. 

Last week, Above won against Fever. This week, Above is against Still Waters by Emma Carlson Berne. The covers are so different! One is gold-ish and the other one is blue-ish. They both are beautiful and attention drawing though! See for yourself and, though it's hard, vote for your favourite on the poll to the right.

Cover Wars: Fever vs. Above

Welcome to another week of Cover Wars! Yes, I know it's a day late but I'm in the process of moving so my house is covered with boxes and I'm rushing to finish all the library books so I won't take up too much space in the van with them.

Anyways.


Cover Wars is a weekly feature at Tantalizing Illusions all about two beautiful covers battling it out based on your votes. The winner will go against a challenger next week. What's the point? Curiosity and fun, plus it's my way of appreciating gorgeous covers.

Last week Fever won by one vote! That was so close! Can Fever manage to pull it off again? This week Fever is against Above by Leah Bobet. (TBR: April 2012)
