Cover Reveal: Pretty Amy

Today I have an awesome new cover to reveal to you all! It's for Pretty Amy by Lisa Burnstein, which will be released on May 15th.

Amy is fine living in the shadows of beautiful Lila and uber-cool Cassie, because at least she's somewhat beautiful and uber-cool by association. I LOVE this cover. It's stunning and eye catching. It definitely makes me want to read the book. Then I read the synopsis and realized this is a must read for me. What do you think?

Book News: Scary School

Have you guys heard of this new MG series written by Derek the Ghost called Scary School? It seems like a really funny book, and perfect for any MG fans. I love the trailer for it especially, the music and I just wanted to share it with you guys.




The second book in the series, Monsters on the March recently released it's cover.



It looks pretty cool eh? I think it's just a great series to share with some of the younger boys in our lives. If you're interested, there's more at the official website.

Today is the reveal date of the cover for Tara Fuller's new book, Inbetween. What do you think of it? I love the simplicity and the contrast of the black, white and green. It will look really nice on a bookshelf, I bet.

New Covers of August Part 1

I love covers so I thought I'd do a sort of recap for new YA covers released in August. The source for my list is Tor.com Urban Fantasy on Facebook.  I like them since they're so awesome and have lots of cool posts. All credit for this post goes to them!

Cover Reveal: Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

Who's read Hush Hush and has fallen in love with the delicious Patch? I have! Crescendo is the next in the series of beautiful covers. Recently the last book in the series, Silence's cover was released.




Tada! You like it? I don't like it as much a the other covers, but the ocean is beautiful so maybe it will grow on me. Silence is being released on October 4th 2011. What do you think of it?

I'm not too crazy about the cover. It feels a bit more fantastical than The Iron Witch.
