Cover Wars: Incarnate vs Exiled
Cover Wars is a weekly feature hosted at Tantalizing Illusions all about admiring and appreciating gorgeous covers by voting for your favourite. The winner will go on to another week and battle against a new cover.
Last week was the battle of Incarnate versus The Treachery of Beautiful Things and I was blown away by the results. There were so many votes and it was really close! Incarnate managed to get 54% of the votes and this week, it will defend it's spot against another very gorgeous, drool worthy cover. Exiled by RaShelle Workman.
vs
Both covers have the face and butterfly combo, but Incarnate has a much more simplistic look while Exiled has more butterflies and colours. They both took the same concept and made it their own. My question is, which version works more for you?
Remember the poll on the right and let me know what you think in the comments! ☺ Have a great weekend everyone and let this week's Cover Wars begin!

I loved Incarnate's cover the first time I saw it. The only problem is it seems a bit washed out. I feel like the colors could have been blended better. I really do love how wild and crazy Exiled is. It does look very sci-fi, which totally. works. I'd go with Exiled.
ReplyDeleteWow. Exiled is weird. The hair is crazy (though it could almost be good crazy), but the butterflies clash with the whole sci-fi vibe from the title font and blue light. And also, how is a girl with butterflies exiled? :P Sorry. I'll be quiet now.
ReplyDeleteThe Incarnate cover is graceful; the Exiled cover comes across as crazy. o_O Re: Exiled - Her wild child-of-a-lion hair doesn't match her face/make-up.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Exiled. It really pulls me in.
ReplyDeleteIncarnate has a quiet elegance about it, but Exiled's cover is exciting. Both draw me in. I think Exiled is a bit more dramatic and thus more intriguing, though.
ReplyDeleteI love them both ~ really great covers. But .... I choose EXILED! Great blog you have here P.E.!
ReplyDeleteI really like them both, but there's something about Exiled that appeals to me more. Perhaps it's that the additional details keep me looking at it longer--definitely something you want people considering buy your book to do. =D
ReplyDeleteI actually like EXILED better. I'm adding it to my TBR right now.
ReplyDeleteExiled!
