The Book Blogger Hop is hosted at Crazy For Books. In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!
"Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?"
I'm not much of a pranker. It takes too much work and I'm a lazy person so I don't like to plan much. I'll jump behind someone and scream 'Boo!' or something along the lines of that but I won't plan a huge prank. How about everyone else?
Q. WHAT IS THE BOOK THAT YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO ADMIT TO LOVING??
I don't think there's anything I won't admit I love anymore. Since I began blogging, I've realized the importance of my own opinion. My opinion is completely unique and that's a good thing. I won't change it for anyone but myself. That said, when I first read Twilight (3 years ago) I was ashamed to admit I loved it. Same with the Clique series (read 4 years ago). The truth is that now I'm not a big fan of either series. I've changed during the last few years.
Those are my answers! Have a great weekend everybody and keep reading! I'd be thrilled if you'd leave a comment so I can visit you too. :)
I definitely agree with your embarrassing book answer- things that used to really bother me or upset me (especially about what other people think) don't really both me as much anymore. It's good to grow and no one can really affect how you view yourself!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and am looking forward to checking out more of your blog! :)
Here's my post link: Follow Friday & Blog Hop!
@Lisa: I agree! Something can only be embarrassing if you let it embarrass you. Thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeleteFound you through the Hop and now following, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how blog's help their author's reading taste evolve and change over time :)
Take care & happy reading,

I found your blog through the hop. I also love twilight before since its my first book addiction but I never get ashamed about it and I don't care what they say. Since I've read a lot of great books and awesome series my addiction with twilight shattered. But I will still admit that I loved it.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll visit my blog too. By the way I'm a new follower.
Have a great weekend.

I'm not a prankster either - maybe because I'm lazy or because I'm not a very good liar or I don't know, it's just not me. Actually, I wouldn't be sad if AFD disappeared altogether.
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you via the Hop!
I feel the same way. If I love a book I'm not afraid to admit it.
ReplyDeleteI dressed up like a vampire while my sister dressed up like Death and we played basketball at a park. Love your blog!

I was never ashamed to say I loved Twilight. It is what it is -- not great literature, but when you see ALL THOSE TEENS eating those books up, how can you say that's bad??? Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteI actually was fine with Twilight before I joined the Internet and realized how many people hated Twilight. I know it wasn't a perfect series but I loved it... then i discovered other series and Twilight moved down my love list.
ReplyDeleteYa, I am not a prankster either... I didn't even think of the times I have jumped out and scare people though... I hid in a corn maze once to jump out at the passerbys :) Does that count?
